Who We Are

We welcome all who come in love to worship the King!

Articles of Faith

  1. We believe in one true and living God, and that there are three persons in the Godhead – Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Matt. 28:19; John 10:30; Eph. 2:18; II Cor. 13:14.
  2. We believe the Scripture of the Old and New Testaments is the Word of God and the only rule of faith and practice. II Tim. 3:14-17; II Peter 1:19-20.
  3. We believe in the doctrine of election as taught in the Old and New Testament’s. Ex 33:18-19; Eph. 1:3-14; John 6:37-40.
  4. We believe in the doctrine of Original Sin. Gen 3:12-13; Rom. 3:10-18; Eph. 2:1-3.
  5. We believe in man’s impotency to recover himself by his own free will and ability from the state that he is in by nature. John 3:16; Heb. 7:25-27; I Peter 1:18-21; Eph Chapter 1.
  6. We believe that the sinners are justified in the sight of God only by the imputed righteousness of Christ. Acts 13:29; Rom 5:19; Rom. 8:1; I Cor. 1:30-31.
  7. We believe that God’s elect are called, regenerated and sanctified by the Holy Spirit. John 16:7-11; Rev. 22:17; John 1:13; I Peter 1:22-25; I Thess. 1:4-8; I Thess. 5:23; John 3:1-8.
  8. We believe that the saints persevere and never finally fall away. Rom 8:28; Phil. 1:6; 2:12; John 10:26-29.
  9. We believe that Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances of Jesus imposed upon his church; that immersion is the Biblical form of baptism; that believers are the only subjects of His ordinance and that none but baptized believers are entitled to partake of the Lord’s Supper. Matt. 3:13-17; Matt. 28:19; Rom. 6:4; Col. 2:12; Acts 8:38; Matt. 26:26-29.
  10. We believe in the resurrection of the dead. Matt. 22:30; John 5:29; Acts 4:2; Acts 24:15; Matt. 25:31-46.
  11. We believe the punishment of the wicked will be everlasting and the joy of the righteous will be eternal. II Thess. 1:5-7; Rom. 3:5-6; Rev. 20:11-15; Matt. 25:46.
  12. We believe the obligation is on every church and believer to witness. Matt. 28:19-20; Acts 8:4; Acts 1:8.

How to Become a Member

At the end of our worship services we usually sing a song of invitation.

At this time in the service, we invite you to come to the front where our pastor will be waiting to welcome you. If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, you can simply request membership with our church family with one of the following statements.

You can join Camp Pinckney Baptist Church in one of three ways:

•By Profession of Faith in Christ and Believer’s Baptism
I have accepted Christ and would like to join Camp Pinckney Baptist Church and be baptized by immersion.

•Transfer of Membership Letter
I am a member of a Southern Baptist church and would like to transfer my membership to Camp Pinckney Baptist Church.

•Statement of Faith
I am a Christian and have been baptized by immersion and a membership letter is not attainable.  I would like to join Camp Pinckney Baptist Church.

If your situation is somewhat different from these three, please feel free to contact our pastor and he will gladly talk with you about your relationship with Jesus and your becoming a part of our church family.
